BLUE SUNDAY BRIDGES-PARADE

On Sunday, September 10th, Blue Sunday will make the bridges bubble with energy in the inner city! In collaboration with the Rietveld theater, Blue Sunday organizes the Bruggen parade for the second time.
In line with Open Monument Day, this is a perfect moment to put the historic city center with all its beautiful bridges on the map. On more than 10 bridges artists will perform; musicians, street theater and there are also acts for children. In a theatrical way you can walk with the bridge walk, which is provided by Atelier Something Extra. One day that is characterized by experience.

Experience the parade from the water

you can experience the parade as well from the water in both the Canal Hopper and the Canal Cruise boat. The intimate silent boats will sail with a singer songwriter and picnic basket aboard, filled with sweets from Blue Sunday participants. In addition, the cruise ship also takes part on this event and makes a hop-on-shop-off route through the city center. Sailing through the canals, the guide will tell about the history of the Delft bridges, which you will sail underneath. Enjoy a snack and a drink. Hop on and experience the historic inner city from the water. At various places you can leave the boat.

Elite models

Blue Sunday stands for collaboration and connection. Acting on the casting day of Elite Model Look 2017, which will take place on the Market on Sunday, there will be a fashion-related act on different bridges. So also for the fashionista’s it is worth visiting the parade!
