South wing of the former St Agatha’s Convent (16th century). In the 17th century it became the home of Princess Emilia of Nassau, daughter of William of Orange, who was married to Don Emmanuel of Portugal. Their daughters continued to live in the convent, which became known as The Court of the Princesses of Portugal. In the 19th century this wing became a military hospital. After a restoration Museum Nusantara was located here until 2013. In 2014 reallocated and renovated as Het Prinsenkwartier, a centre for creative industry.
