Chapel in Gothic style (circa 1400) with brick turret and natural stone spire. It belonged to the neighbouring almshouse which became a girls’ orphanage after the Reformation. Serving as a war warehouse of the Republic of the Seven United Provinces, it was the city’s arsenal from 1630 onwards. In 1919, the facade was restored and windows were reconstructed. After several functions, it is now in use again as a Roman Catholic chapel since 1966. Turret was restored in 1987. In 2003, the original slate roof was repaired.

Due to church services, the Sint Hippolytuskapel is not open to visitors of Open Monument Day Delft on Sundays.
