Former Building for Mining Engineering of the then Technical College. Constructed between 1906 and 1912, designed by the state architect J.A.W. Vrijman in the Neo-Renaissance style. A large complex with wings positioned perpendicular to each other and two interior courtyards. In the halls to the right of the main entrance, the floors are supported by cast iron columns and heavy steel beams. Since 2025, it has served as the office of engineering and consultancy firm Haskoning. As part of its adaptive reuse, the building was sustainably renovated. To accommodate the required number of workspaces, both courtyards were covered by a single continuous roof structure. This structure integrates, among other features, 600 solar panels.
